Specialty common areas are spread throughout the entire community to be enjoyed by all residents of Low Country Retreat. Common Areas in planning consist of Cutting Flower Gardens, Herb Gardens, Butterfly Gardens and Tomatoes / Vegetable / Asparagus Gardens, to name a few. Approximately 35% of the community will be common area set aside for the benefit of our members.

An Equestrian Center is located on the property with three barns, 18 stalls and an indoor arena for horses and a Golden Retriever kennel. The Equestrian Center, which is operated by a local equestrian expert, offers horseback riding, boarding and lessons to members. Roughly 5 miles of Equestrian and Hiking Trails wind throughout the property from the Community Docks on Lake Hartwell, through the Meadows and up to the high vista areas of the Ridge Lines.
