The Equestrian program at Low Country Retreat
is designed to appeal to every member of the family. The community
will have several horses available for use by home owners. Enjoy a
ride on horseback or on a horse drawn wagon. The multiple use paths
winding through the property will give everyone the opportunity to
ride this scenic area.
 There
is an indoor arena and an outdoor arena available for those who
want the comfort of knowing they are in a contained space as they
work to improve their skills. For the more accomplished rider, there
are miles of trails in the Sumter National Forest with several trailheads
less than an hour away.
You may choose to board your horse at Low
Country Retreat with roomy box stalls and turnout paddocks or you
may reserve a community horse to ride at your leisure. The health
and safety of the horses on site is of utmost importance so a veterinarian
and ferrier will be available as needed.
